I was feeling really good till yesterday and today besides all the acid and the pepcid isn't cutting itso I'm chewing time, taking double amounts of pepcid, etc but I'm nervous cause I'm so nauseous, even with water, I go to the doc on Friday and will ask but is this normal?

Pepcid is just an acid reducer. it often doesn't't help after VSG. You might need a PPI (proton pump inhibitor) which keeps your stomach from MAKING acid.

"Normal" is a relative term in that it can be a normal side effect of VSG.

ask about something like Nexium,protonix,etc.

Even the PPI's are still listed as acid reducers.  Try one of the newer generation PPI's.  Acxiphex (Raberprazole) or Nexium (esomeprazole)  Slightly older are the OTC's Prevacid and Prilosec.  Best of luck to you.
