acid

I was sleeved 12/18 on 1/1 I tried soft foods soup and eggs but I have had acid in my stomach since yesterday should I take gas x also I have lost 15lbs since 12/18 for a total of 36lbs since 12/4

First of all good job on the weight loss.  As for the stomach acid, Gas-X isn't the right thing.  It isn't an acid reducer.  I have personally found that Zantac 150 has been very useful.  Walmart even sells the Equate brand generic version ... Ranitidine.  It's only about $4 for 65 tablets.  If I ever have something where I may overeat a little or suspect I will have issues I take one of these and it works great.  

If I really mess up or think I may need extra help then I will take two Gaviscon (actually again 100 chewable extra strength generic Equate version at about $4).  Between these two products which are antacids I haven't had heartburn for 8 months.
