Anyone tried these?? I've been looking for a good protein rich snack to take with me and this one seems to have pretty good nutrition stats

90 cals, 2.5 fat, 0 carbs and 17 protein per ounce

Just wondering how these taste?? Also I was looking at Steve's original Just Jerky, but it seems way more expensive.

Any other jerky recs?

My local butcher makes his own jerky. It's 20 bucks a pound and it is soft and very tasty. The stuff I see at the grocery has MSG and can be heavy on the salt. www.txslabs.com

I went ahead and ordered a few of each flavor, so I will report back on taste and chewability.

I just ordered Steve's Original Grass Fed Just Jerky. They are chewy which is good, last night I was thinking they really let me get the sensation of chewing something which I was missing with the shakes. They are peppery but have no carbs and no sugar.
