3 years after vsg and problems getting enough calories
I had gained 20 lbs form the lowest weight i reached after my vsg (lost 63lbs total), 3 months ago i started working out with a trainer and my weight still didn't budge so... I began doing the harcombe diet, which is based on proteins and vegetables and or carbohydrates and vegetables, i managed to lose 10lbs. The only problem i see is by following this diet, I am only getting in about 800 calories a day, i fell full and have to force myself to eat more meat or egg to even reach the 800. What should I do? I know i need 1200 but I cant reach it unless i am eating some crappy food that adds easy calories.
I dont know what the Holcomb diet is or why you say you need 1200 calories. Your trainer is most likely inexperienced with WLS patients. Unless you work out a lot, then upping calories may not be a good idea.
Concentrate on following the WLS rules.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I am doing heavy workouts, running, zumba and crossfit. My WL dr. says i need to get to at least 1200 a day and when i am eating healthy (protein based diet) it is impossible unless i eat something really fatty like bacon. I have to force myself to keep eating and then feel sick. I guess i will eat until i am full and keep going with my diet and see if i can finally make it to goal. With Hypothyroidism and surgery induced menopause, its been almost impossible.
Is there a reason you're limiting fats? It's easy enough to up calories without eating crap. Add olive oil to your cooking, eat full fat cheeses, yogurt, milk, spread a few tablespoons of peanut butter on whatever, and there's also the amazing avocado! Nuts are a good go to, and there's nothing wrong with bacon either. Eat the skin on your chicken. Leave some fat on your cuts of meat.
