Hubby is sleeved!!
Well as of noon or so today my husband had the sleeve done! The doctor said that his liver was a great size for surgery and it went well. The doc requires the first day to walk to the door of the room and back but he's a trooper. He walked down the hall twice and sat up in the chair for an hour. He is feeling good (just some gas pain) and in good humor. He has been picking on all the nurses today. He has his leak test tomorrow morning and the catheter out, that should make him more comfortable then off to the races!! :o) He'll be home on Wednesday!

Congratulation to your husband! His doctor is nice. First day I had to be up hourly and out that door and around the nursing area. They didn't come in and enforce it but, I knew it was best for me. That and my DD was with me and when she was sleeved 2 years ago I had her up and walking every hour. Pay backs!
BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
