Fight for your life today!
I jus****ched "Killer at Large" about the obesity epidemic on Netflix, and it made me think of us. We are all warriors and we are NOT going to add to this problem anymore. We are going to show our children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, what healthy looks like. We are going to show them that killing yourself with junk food is unacceptable. We are going to wake up everyday and do the hard thing, not the easy thing. We are going to live our lives, actually live them, not just sit on the sidelines short of breath wondering when our addiction will finally kill us. You don't have to live like that anymore, so today you're going to fight. You're going to eat right, you're going to stay away from the crap, you're going to workout, you're going to look in the mirror and see the results of all of your hard work, you are going to be proud of yourself, and you are going to keep on going. You all can do this, I know you can and I'm fighting right beside you!

Yes we are!! Everytime I feel like it is too hard I look at my 3 gorgeous kids and think that I would do and will do whatever it takes to make sure they don't have to fight this battle when they are adults. They are all perfect healthy weights and they are growing up eating fruits and veggies and protein at every meal. They are watching their parents model good strong behavior and healthy eating and moving our bodies aand they are learning how important it is to take good care of your body.
I am proud of all of us for fighting the good fight!!
I'm in the middle of watching "Killer at Large" now. Wow. Pretty intense. The thing that has gotten me the most was those damn vending machines at the schools. We have to teach our children the right thing. I have a 1 year old and 3 year old and work very hard at limiting the crap they eat. I spend an extra $200 or more a month sending them to daycare with their own, healthy snacks, not the High Fructose Corn Syrup crap the school gives the other children.
