I'm very excited to have found this wonderful site! I'm getting sleeved on Tuesday 2/26 and I'm very excited and nervous at the same time. Is there is anything special you guys would recommend to take to the hospital to make my stay more comfortable or better? TIA ♥

Mouth-moisturizing rinse or spray!!  You won't have anything by mouth for a while, and your mouth will feel like the bottom of a bird cage.  Rinse and spit, rinse and spit, and you will feel soooo much better :-)

There are 3 musts for me anytime I end up in the hospital, lip balm (like blistex), ear plugs and an eye cover (I get mine at the $1.00 Store. Seems I always get a room by the nurses station and it is noisy and bright so I can never get a good sleep. With these I sleep like a baby.

I second the lip balm!! I also recommend flip flops, slippers, or slipper socks - for walking the halls. Also warm fuzzy socks. My feet always get cold in hospitals. I also brought Gas X strips.Good luck!!!
