I've been Sleeved!

Yes, finally I've been sleeved as of 2/26!!! Everything went very smooth and I wasn't as nervous as I thought I would be.  I was really worried about the gas pains that everyone has talked about after surgery, but honestly, I didn't have any myself. I did have some discomfort at my incision sites when I first woke up in recovery, but they gave me some pain meds to help that. I came home last night and took some medicine that the Dr. prescribed and I slept most of the night. I do have some tenderness in my stomach, but over all I do feel good. Thank you all so much for all your insight on the surgery and all your suggestions on what to take to the hospital, I had everything I needed ;) You guys are the BEST!!!

I'm so glad to read this post, congrats on the smooth surgery and recovery thus far.  I have 5 days to go, starting liquids tomorrow and feel like a deer in headlights.

I am scheduled for the 6th of March next Wednesday!  I am excited and nervous.

Congratulations I don't have a surgery date yet, but I'm excited for you.  Please keep posting on your progress.

I'm so glad you had a smooth surgery. I was glad to hear that you didn't have much gas pain. I have been so worked up about that. My surgery is Tuesday ( the 5th). I'd also love to hear what you packed for the hospital. I'll be getting my bag ready this weekend.
