a fun NSV

I was looking in the closet for my youngest daughter's dance costumes from last year, as she and a friend were playing dress up.  I came upon my wedding gown and they asked me to put it on.  It was way too big!!  I got married more than 23 years ago, and today I weigh abut 40 lbs less than I did then.  DH got a kick out of seeing me in the gown, and was disappointed after I changed back into my clothes!  He wanted to take a picture.   Who would have thought that at my age, my wedding gown would hang on me?!  The NSV's, even after 18 months and being in maintenance, still keep happening!

What a terrific nsv!!  I wonder how many OH-ers will be trying their wedding dress on now.  I know when my time comes, thanks to you, I will put it on once more. thank you, and congrats!

Here is one O-H' er that won't be trying one on. 😜

Mine would be the opposite of that, as I weighed about 240 lbs. on my wedding day! I am looking forward to putting my dress on when I reach goal as well to see how huge it is. The other part of my plan since I was a whale on my "big" day, is to get a new dress and have the DH and I renew our vows :)

You weren't a whale, you were a beautiful bride.  But I think renewing your vows as the 'new you' is a great idea!
