Is there a List?

I have seen a few posts that address what to take to the Hospital and what is good to have at home when you return. Is there a list that this information can be found? If so; I'd like to get a copy.

I have seen it but I don't know where it is. Honestly, I  only took my tooth brush, hairbrush, bathrobe, my laptop, and a change of underwear. I went back into the clothes I wore the day of surgery because they were clean. You won't need anything else. You to busy, sleeping, drinking, or walking.

Good luck!!!

Thanks so much. I thought that people are taking way too much to the hospital. But, was curious as to what people found to be essential. What about when you got home? What was beneficial for you?

I took a whole bag of stuff and I did not use 1 thing that I had packed, not even my toothbrush. Myself & the other patients were kicked out bright & early, around 6am. All I needed were the clothes on my back & my cell phone.

Good Luck to you,

Hilary

I hope my experience is similar. I saw where you have lost over 30 lbs. Awesome!!!

What have you found to be beneficial once you got home?

The Unjury chicken flavor has played a very important role in my recovery. I noticed it's the one thing that makes me feel full. I also love Premier Protein chocolate flavored shakes, they're delicious!!!

I stayed 3 days in the hospital and the only thing that I brought that was useful was my wife. They gave me slipper socks and pain killers. They wouldn't let me take GasX strips. I watched TV, walked, sipped and slept. I did have my CPAP machine which I used. And a stiff pillow to hold and hug in the car going home and coughing.

Funny! Having my wife there will be essential. What about when you got home? Anything you might reccommend?

I agree with the other two posts.  Less is more.  I took my toothbrush, robe, change of underwear and laptop.  That's all I needed.  I've heard others couldn't live without chapstick or GasX strips.

Chapstick, hand sanitizer, toothbrush and my own bathrobe.  I didn't use anything else that I took except my cell phone and charger.
