Hi anyone have any suggestion for chick broth i am pre op i have ordered the unjury but waiting for that to arrive.  I tried to do the boulin cube and i put that in boiling water and it looked nasty and smelled funny so i couldn't do it.  I would like to try something warm and i do like chicken noodle soup i am tempted to open a can and drain the broth from there all the cold stuff we can eat pre op is getting old any thoughts on a different broth i can try.  Thanks in advance

Trader Joe's has some broths that I enjoyed early on.  If you don't have a Trader Joe's nearby, then I think there are similar ones called Pacific something or other ... they come in a cardboard like container.  https://www.google.com/search?q=pacific+broth&hl=en&safe=off &rlz=1C1ASUT_enUS484US484&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=oMQ2U aenMYKa8gST7YDIBA&ved=0CAoQ_AUoAQ&biw=1091&bih=546

Look for lower sodium versions if possible.  You can also add various spices to boost flavor and if I were a good cook (or even one that doesn't mostly suck) I would suggest some to you.

Good Luck

The only one I enjoyed was Pacific organic free-range chicken broth (low sodium.) It smells great, like rotisserie chicken.

I have a basement but don't dwell in it full time.

Costco has a soup base called better than bouillon that is real good,if you are adding protein powder you need to keep the temp 140 f or under or it will clump and be nasty , all protein powders do that

I have tried the Swanson's low sodium chicken broth that comes in a box type of packaging at the grocery store. It's in the soup section and I used to use it in homemade soups. It tastes just like chicken noodle soup without the noodles. It's okay. I also bought the beef broth but haven't tried it yet.

I also drink the Swansons. I get it in a can that says low sodium ready to eat. I add a couple of drops of Texas Pete's to it to give it some spice.

That's exactly what I did and it turned out great for me.  I bought the chicken noodle soup in the pull top cans, opened the can and just pushed down on the lid to get the broth and no solids.  I tired several of the packaged broths and the cubes but did not like any of them.

I absolutely love hot chicken broth. This takes a little time, but makes enough to keep you going for quite a while. Throw a bunch of chicken legs/wings/thighs in a bunch of water (like a gallon) with a few cut up carrots, celery, onion (whatever you have around). Bring to a boil and then let simmer till good and done. Strain, cool and then set in refrigerator till any fat there may be settles on top and remove. Season with salt and pepper. I freeze this up in quarts so it is handy anytime. When I use it, I dilute this for drinking ounce for ounce. Shred the chicken pieces and freeze for quick meals another time. Super inexpensive.
