Is this okay? or did I just cheat on my full liquid diet?

So for lunch today I took half a can of Progresso Light Santafe Shicken soup, threw it in a blender made it all of liquid consistency, heated and am now consuming.  Is this cheating?  I mean really i think this would technically be puree'ing but yet, it is liquid it has protein and lower carbs.  Just want to make sure I'm not doing something I shouldn't do again.  Ahh

I'd call your dr./nut.  All of their plans are so different, it's going to be hard for anyone here to answer you with any accuracy.

It looks like we had surgery the same day.  I was told I could have 1/2 cup of lofat tomato or butternut squash soup with protein. I had some today but didn't put in protein powder.  I bought the organic campbells and really like it.  It is nice to have something other than protein drinks.  Not sure about the blender puree food as I thought that was for the 2nd part after liquid but you may be fine as long as it is the right consistancy.

It depends on what's on your particular plan for full fluids. Normally, if it'll go through a straw it's fine, but I wasn't allowed meat, fish or poultry for the first 30 days, even if I put it through a blender. What does your plan say?

Depends on your plan. My doctor said this was ok and if it was too thick you could add milk, water or broth.

My plan tells me what I can't have but it doesn't really explain in depth.  It does say I can have cottage cheese which is definately harder to eat than my pureed soup so to speak.  I'm just trying different things or the next week and a half could drive me bonkers.

Unless it specifically says no meat, then carry on.
Happily there are lots of types of canned soups out there waiting to be puréed.
One that I really enjoyed (once I was allowed the salmon) was potato soup with added salmon OR cheese.
