I have seen a few of you listing quest protein bars in your daily menu.  I looked them up and they show 15-20g fiber.  Does this cause you any tummy upset??  How is the taste??

The taste varies by the bar. I have several I love, some I hate and a few that I think are OK...as do most people, but their lists will differ and they'll love the ones I hate.

I use Quest bars for both protein and as a fiber supplement. During loss I only ate a half a bar a day, but now I eat a full one.

My personal favorites, in order of favoriteness (is that a word?):

Chocolate brownie (heat in microwave 10-15 seconds and WOW)
Chocolate chip cookie dough (yeah, same taste and consistency)
Banana nut muffin
Lemon cream pie
Mixed berry bliss

I want to check into these too. Where do you find the best price?
Thanks

To try them out, Vitamin Shoppe or GNC stores if there's one near you. Quest will send you free samples of two flavors. I get the best ongoing prices from Quest or Amazon. I eat one bar a day like clockwork so I buy several boxes at a time.

I found them at GNC. Their site has them for $25.12 for a box of 12.

I like the peanut butter/chocolate, the peanut butter, the vanilla almond and the strawberry cheesecake flavors. Some of the other fruity flavors have a weird aftertaste to me.

They don't cause me stomach upset unless I eat too many. I like that they have a healthy dose of fiber per bar.

See! Exactly what I mean. Of those four, you hit 3 of my very least favorite flavors and one I think is just OK.

It's so much a matter of personal taste!

I have 1/2 a Quest bar as my afternoon snack most days, partly for the protein, but mostly as a fibre boost. My wee tummy loves them and they help with the ongoing "issues" so common with a sleeve. The usual rules apply - small bites, chew well.

My favourites are the chocolate fudge, peanut butter and jelly, vanilla almond crunch and mixed berry bliss. I'd like to try the cookie dough one, but am leery of anything with stevia, which tastes "weedy" to me.

I've looked at the peanut butter cup things, but although the protein is good, the fibre is low, so trying those will have to wait. Right now every bite has to earn its way into my mouth.

I love Quest Bars.  They have been a lifesaver during a difficult period with Sleeve complications. I can eat a whole bar.  I still don't understand if the Carbs are 20, or only 3 grams after you take the fiber count away....very confusing to me!

Best one is:

1) Chocolate chip cookie dough

Next is

2) Chocolate brownie - heat for 15 seconds in microwave
