Pre op Testing & Pre Admission

Today has been so stressful! I have had a hard time taking off work for my appts. I am the only person that works in the lab & there is no one to really cover me. This morning I left the office at 9:40am & didn't get back till 2:15pm. I was so worried that they were falling behind at work or that my supervisor would call at any moment. My phone was also dying & barely had charge. I didn't know what to do...I literally felt like vomiting in the waiting room. Those people took forever!!! But my surgeon is only in on Thursdays, and btw it was the pre admission people who made me wait in the waiting room 2 hrs. Thank the Lord that part is over. Now on to surviving this 2 wk liquid diet. I can't wait for April 29th to get here. So very thankful I have made it to this point.

Just breath!!!! You can get thru this.  You are almost at the finish line!!!

Sorry you had such a stressful day. i'm on the diet for four weeks so be glad you only have to do it for two weeks.

Sorry to hear about your stressful day.  At least it's over and you've only got less than two weeks to go for surgery!!  I have my pre-op testing scheduled for this Saturday and surgery on the 4/29 also.  I can't wait...just taking this liquid diet a day at a time.
