My new best friend
I took the plunge Thursday and bought a packet of support knickers at Costco. Tried them on this morning, and oh my goodness! They don't make me magically slender, but they kinda tuck/fold/support my ugly hanging belly, which is the #1 thing I hate about my current body. The outfit I wore to church fit SO much better - we went back to Costco this afternoon and bought another packet.
A nice point - they're also comfortable. (I was pretty much expecting torture)
Bonus yay - I also finally got up my nerve to try on pants in a normal store. I came home with a pair of skinny jeans and am just thrilled.
Yes, they are in their largest size, but I don't care. I've been buying pants from the fat lady store for over 30 years. I'm a happy camper.
The cashier almost got herself smooched. She said,"there's no way you wear an 18. Go try on a smaller size!" The 18s fit just fine, but she really brightened up my day.
