3+ years

3 years and 3 months since my op.  Recently down another 5 pounds, so over 10 stone lost from my heaviest, 98 pounds since the op.  Now BMI of 29.8 so I'm overweight, BIG DAY!!!!!  Was on 480 units of Insulin a day and severe sleep apnoea.  For nearly 2 years only on tablets for diabetes and sleep apnoea gone.  Still have lots of restriction, but fighting carbs every day...

Thank you!  Carbs are the very devil, the more I eat, the more I want.  Lovely that my restriction is still intact.  :-)

Congrats!! Thats AWESOME...  Carbs will always be there!

I'm trying to have poached eggs on a piece of toast on Saturday and Sunday morning.  If I have any more I'm in trouble and it takes me days to cut the carbs!  The VSG works, but it isn't magic!  ;-)

Great job! Keep fighting the fight. I love getting the reinforcement from those farther out that we need to stay vigilant! Thanks for your post.

Thanks Chris.  I think it's important to keep updating, although I only do it once or twice a year.  I'm more of a lurker now, glad it was useful  :-)
