Hello everyone....surgery yesterday was delayed 2 hours so I finally went in at 3pm, so I didn't get back to the floor till 6pm....I was soooo groggy that I couldn't stay awake and didn't get up for the first time till midnight. Today was very slow going because I could hardly keep my eyes open, I didn't use the morphine very much but I had a demented cute little lady who kept me awake most the night.....I am so glad I am home but still feel out of it. I feel I should be walking more than a few strolls around the house. The gas pains in the upper chest are so-so....going to try some gas x chewable a...have already taken 2 naps since 3pm....hopefully tmr will be better...thanks for all your support

Hi Kathy,

I'm so glad you are home and not having too much discomfort. I slept a lot the first few days.  I think the body needs it.  It will only get better from here.  Keep sipping and walking.  All that's left is the healing!

best wishes,

Carol

Welcome Home!  I wish I could have come home after that first night of no sleep.  My roomie made the worst noise when sleeping as she needed a cpap and usually didn't have it on or wrong when she did.  I would have done much better at home.

Sip, sip, sip and walk, walk, walk and nap in between.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
