It's been TWO years - pictures included
Wow does time fly! Yesterday was my two year surgiversary! I'm not going to say that the journey thus far hasn't been a rough one. I, like the majority of people on here, have had my ups and downs. I've fallen off the wagon more than a few times, but I know that going back to basics and getting myself back on track is possible. The weight will continue to come off if I follow the plan set forth by my doctors, and incorporate healthy eating. I am going to keep this short but for those of you just beginning your journey - enjoy it and embrace it. It is going to be hard work, and you will have to change your life - anyone who tells you it is easy has never been through it, but always remember to put your health first.
Just a side note - I get asked a lot about excess skin and whether or not I have it - yes, I do. My arms and legs have snapped back quite nicely due to strength and weight training 2x per week and running 3-4x per week. My stomach, on the other hand, hasn't turned out so nicely. I definitely need to have a tummy tuck, but I am going to hold off for a while before I do that.
Happy losing everyone![]()
