So I have had a small regain. 10 pounds. However it is scaring me.  I need help on how I can re-focus. Should i go back to all liquids for a few days?

Any suggestions will be helpful.

Thanks

Liquids work for some people, a day full of nothing but dense protein works for others...do whatever you have to do to detox from the carbs and then start working on the root of the regain. Youve got a good handle on it - much much better to knick those 10 lbs in the butt before it becomes 20, 30, 40 etc. You got this :)

I saw a post on here recently by a Vet.  She said that when she has a bit of a regain she does strictly 600 - 800 calories per day, no more than 30 - 40 grams of Carbs, and super high protein, like 80+ grams.  And 100 oz of water.  And snacking on non-starchy, low glycemic veggies (spinach, asparagus, fresh green beans, cucumber, broccoli, etc).  To get to the 80 grams of protein I imagine one would need a low carb protein shake in there - or two.  But, sticking within those number ranges is key.  I imagine you'd need to track in MyFitnessPal to make sure you are staying within that number range.

Wishing you luck and success - you got this!!!!!

You can do this. Do it now before 10 becomes 20. The one thing I don't think we touched on was that it will be helpful for you to monitor your weight more closely in the future so that you tighten up your eating when you have put 2 or 3 lbs on, not 10. You should go back to weight loss mode anytime you have gained 2-3 lbs above goal weight for you.
