Going on my second first date today, and another first date tomorrow evening. A year ago I would never have believed this would be me. Guys are interested and attracted to me. What?!

I am a single mom of two kids, and although this surgery did not change me as a person, it has given me the confidence to go out there and rock myself and who I am and not feel as though I need to settle for anything. 95 pounds down and confidence through the roof. I feel wonderful.

Wildcat, our journeys are similar. Really close surgery dates and starting weight the same. :)

Girlllll I am so happy for you!! I too have been on some dates since my VSG (7.5 months post op) and it is fabulous!! I have so much more confidence now that I am down about 93lbs since surgery and 112 total. I just cant get over the fact of how many compliments I get from guys telling me positive things about myself that I just never would think could happen! Good luck on the dating scene!!
