Dr. Daryl Stewart

Someone posted on the DS board that Dr. Daryl Stewart has died from a heart attack.  I'm sadden by the news!

NO way!  One of my girlfriends had surgery with him last month and is supposed to see him this week!  OMG.

Yes it is true. My surgery was supposed to be this week i was leaving in the morning. The office called me this afternoon

Cassie - I am SOOOO sorry. I know that had to be such a shock for you. Thinking about and praying for you as you decide who to use snow. Are you being sleeved? Would love to talk with you if you need or want to vent.

Im having the DS actually . They said gis assistant Dr. Aiola will do it in the next two weeks they just have to call Cigna and change the DR. Billing over

Oh wow. I'm so sorry - for you and for his family. ((HUGS))

I just called his office.  He passed away Monday morning.  He was 52.  My heart is sinking.

He is the sweetest doctor I've ever met.  He has changed so many lives with his awesome surgical skills and knowledge.

I am praying for his family.  Dr Stewart will be greatly missed. 

I know his staff is hurting right now as well.

I'll never forget his precious little grin. 

Dr. Stewart passed away early Monday morning, July 22. It is in the local paper, the Denton Record Chronicle, and our staff was also notified this morning of his passing. I am not a patient of his, but I do know that those who worked with him had enormous respect for him. Many lives were changed for the better because of his skill and compassion. My heart is with his wife and children today.

I saw him last week at my appointment. I have surgery scheduled with him. I called today to see if my preop test results were in and they told me he died! So sad. I guess I'm moving forward with Dr. Ayoola. I met him and he is friendly. But I want to know how much experience he has? Does anybody know a patient of his?
