I don't think so. I guess it depends on what your drinking. I think the isopure rtd waters have a weird after taste. But the actual shakes I have had taste pretty good. Are you mixing with water or milk? I mix mine with almond milk.

I think so, but so far the Sytrax Nectars are easiest to swallow.  Still pre-op and trying different proteins though.  Isopure Mango Peach isn't too bad either.

I use the GNC Total Lean 25 and they taste wonderful and don't have any aftertaste that I have noticed. I mix with water and ice in a little shaker bottle. Easy peasy.

Glad to hear these lean 25 shakes are good - the original no so good and only like 8grams of protein.  I just bought 3 tubs and even with a sale, not cheap!  Next week I believe I will begin again like a newbie hence the protein shakes.

Best,

Leila

I found that most do. I had to try lots of different flavors until I found ones that didn't bother me in that respect. Every one is different, but my favorites are Syntrax Matrix Mint Cookie (made with Chocolate Soy Slender), Tera's Whey Organic Dark Chocolate (made with unsweetened soy milk or skim milk) and Chocolate Premier Protein (ready-to-drink). Protein shakes are really important, so try to find a couple you can deal with.

I will second the Syntrax Mint Cookie.  I mix it up in water and serve it over ice and it is just like eating a thin mint cookie.  It doesn't have any kind of aftertaste whatsoever.

I've been drinking EAS Advantedge and Myoplex Lite since before surgery and love them.

It works if you work it; it sorta works if you sorta work it; and it doesn't work if you don't work it.

I couldn't find any protein powder I could tolerate until I tried a sample of Unjury Chocolate and Chocolate Splendor.  They are a little pricier and have to be ordered online, but I figured getting a high quality source of whey protein isolate was too important to skimp on.
