Yup -- when I saw mine I was like "hotdog size my a**!  That thing is the size of a string bean!"   Hence, my new tummy's name:  the string bean :-) 

How did you get to see it?

Probably during the leak test, if she was awake for it.

I was awake for my leak test and then my doctor showed me the x-ray films from that a week or so later.  I'm a very visual person so it helped me to "see" it. 

I saw mine during my leak test. It looked like a very small banana. I was thinking how am I ever going to survive with such a little stomach. No problem.

That would have been fun to do.  When I go to my 6 week check up I will ask if they still have that test on file.

I saw mine on my leak test too and it was TINY! And even now, at almost 18 months post op, I can only eat about 2 ounces of protein most of the time, occasionally I can eat 2.5 but it's very rare. I guess my sleeve really was tiny! I remember the first month post op my capacity was about 2 tablespoons of anything, even soup.

I wish i'd seen mine!!! I was so sick aft surg and when they took me for test, it was all i could do to complete it. Good idea to ask now to pull it up so i can see it!
