On my way - and a message from my daughter
I will be leaving for the airport to go to San Diego in a few hours. Monday, my surgery is scheduled in Mexico with Dr. Aceves. My daughter and I always loved the Dr. Seuss books when she was young. This morning, she sent me a snippet from one. It made me cry. I have a wonderful daughter.

Take your swimsuit if you have one. The hotel has a lovely pool. (And your suit likely won't fit by the time you're allowed back in the water)
While you're in San Diego pick up some Propel Zero packets. We can't get it here and tastes so much better than plain water. (We like berry and cherry limeade the best)
Listen carefully to Dr Campos when he talks about eating post op and ask lots of questions. You're going to be in great hands.

Yes, you do have a wonderful daughter. Good luck. Keep us posted on your recovery.
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our Light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves -- Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?Actually, who are we not to be?
You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people do not feel insecure around you. We were born to manifest the Glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us, it is in everyone.
And as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fears, our presence automatically liberates others.
