Swallowing Vitamins

I am 4 mths post op. I am able to swallow a vitamin whole at this point. Is this ok nutrition wise? Does it absorb in the same manner as crushing it?

Just curious because it is a heck of a lot easier to just swallow it and get it over with!

Yep, we still have a stomach that functions the same way it always has, it is just smaller. Don't be afraid to swallow your pills. However, you still need to follow your doctors instructions about what kind of pills to swallow. You don't want to take anything that will eat away at the protective mucus layer inside your stomach.
