Anyone here have issues with dumping?

Hey,  I am currently almost 4 months out band to sleeve revision.  I am doing great and am down almsot 55lbs.  My question is does anyone here have issues with dumping.  I had read before that it wasn't common but some sleeve people do.  The reason I ask is that I do slightly dump.  I have noticed when I have eaten a little too much sugar I get sick to my stomach and end up in the bathroom a little bit later.  For example, I drank what I thought was a SF latte the other day and about 3/4 of the way through started feeling sick.  I have also done this with greasy foods and something in the low carb slim fast.  Anyone else here have similar experiences?

The latte sounds like my sudden lactose intolerance. My surgeon recommended taking a probiotic to encourage good gut flora. I haven't had any dumping due to sugar though, just issues with dairy since surgery that are, thankfully, finally getting better.

It wasn't the lactose. I drink sf lattes daily and have since about 6 days post op. the only difference was I believe they messed up and gave me regular syrup. SF wasn't written on my cup like usual.

I TOTALLY know what you mean!! If I have a little too much, or something sweet that my stomach doesn't agree with then I puke. I went to the fair the other day and tried to do really good, had corn on the cob, just a few bites of chicken and rice, then later in day strawberry short cake. I don't know if that was too much or too sweet but I felt dizzy and even laid down on the grass, but it came up. But after I threw up I felt better. It became like poison in me until I "dumped it" and I didn't eat much of the sweet stuff. Tried to eat just the strawberries. But I eat fruit in my smoothies all the time, including strawberries. So I think it was a little too sweet and a little too much. I have it a lot if I eat a little too much. Its been helping me not want to eat more than about 3 or 4 bites of any thing. I am liking it.

I too have a reaction to sugary.  I don't think ours is like what they go thru with the RNY but, some of us to get that sweaty sick to our stomach feeling to the tummy.  It is getting less the farther out I get.  And yes, if I drink my Premier Protein to fast even I get it slightly from that.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.

I had a bad day when I ate a pastry and a chocolate bar.  I was SO sick!  Before, I could have eaten 10 times that much without any problem.  Yup, I dump.  And I'm glad!

I am very happy I have this and really hate for it to go away. I love that I can enjoy a bite or two of my favorites but knowing I will be sick if I eat more really helps to stop. I have always wanted to be one of "those" people who eat just a bite or two and are satisfied. I am hoping that this will help me gain the control I didn't have before.

I don't think it was dumping, sounds more like "reactive hypoglycemia".  You can Google it.

If it feels good, do it!  And if it smells good, eat it!

According to my surgeon and dietician it is dumping. I know what reactive hypoglycemia is.

The nausea hits right away not 3-4 hours after and none of my other  "symptoms" are consistent with reactive hypoglycemia.
