4 days post op!  Not really hungry at all but I think should eat!  Still on clear liquids but need to add some protein.  Dietician said making smoothies are a good way to get protein in but wasn't sure what brand of vanilla would be good.  I can't use the pre mixed because I am lactose and soy intolerant.   Any suggestions would be great!  Still having a lot of incision pain, but feeling a little better each day!

I'm also lactose intolerant (a new development since surgery). I use Synthrax Nectar's Vanilla Bean Torte. Lactose and gluten free. I'm not sure about soy. I love it. No weird "proteiny" flavor. Just a nice vanilla.

Thanks Chrissy, I will look for it.  I was going to buy a sampler pack of the synthrax!!  I appreciate you responding!

I love the Synthrax Nectar's Vanilla Bean Torte too.  It does list soy lecithin as an ingredient though.  Not sure if that is a component you can tolerate or not.
