8.5 Month update (-90 pounds) pics included
Entering into Month 9 and still trucking right along! I'm down a total of 90 pounds this week (9 pounds below my original goal right now!) and a whopping 52.25 inches overall! I feel awesome! Month 8 brought me into my dirty 30s, and I know it's going to be a fabulous decade! My belated 6 month check in with my doctor was fantastic as well. My blood pressure is AWESOME! Fasting glucose was 80! amd best news was my pre-op cholesterol level of 263 is now down to a total of 190, but my bad cholesterol is in normal range...my good cholesterol is very high which he attributes to running so much, so he was VERY pleased. Speaking of running, I PRed at my most recent 5K with a time of 24:08...finally down to just about 8:00 splits which I have been working towards since July. My first 10K is coming up on October 26th )A great well to celebrate my 9 month surgiversary!) with a 10 Miler planned for December 14...culminating with Disney Princess Half Marathon in Feburary. I'm really still loving this sleeved life so much. To give my pre-op and recent post op friends an idea of my loss, I went into surgery on January 22 at 220 lbs. Today I weighed in 129, down from a size 20 to a 4, XXL tops to a S/XS, 42F bra to a 34D. My Measurements went like this:
Pre-op:
Left Thigh: 27"
Hips: 46.5"
Waist: 45.5"
Bust: 46.5"
Arm: 16.25"
NOW:
Arm: 10.25" (-6" total!)
Bust: 34.5" (-12" total!)
Waist: 29.0" (-16.5" total!)
Hips: 35.75 (-10.75" total!)
Leg: 20.0" (-7.0" total!)
TOTAL INCHES LOST= 52.25!
Life is good =)
