My Stall
Hey Everyone, I think I reached my first stall. I have been stuck at the same weight since Friday. I haven't changed a thing in my eating. I know I am still struggling with protein, and I have been trying different foods to eat. I am just a little depressed because the scale is not moving. I know I need to stay away from the scale for a while, but I really cant help myself. I know I need to be patient, because the weight will fall off, but I am impatient. I just really want to have great results from my surgery, and I want it work. I don't want to feel like I did all of this for nothing.
Ditto above post, grasshopper. You have entered the land of the "new day". Stop living for tomorrow. Today is where it is at. When I was so very big, I had a mind set that said, " when loose this weight! then I will begin living- until then I will just throw the day away, as if it weren't worth living. I'm here to tell you, EVERY day is worth living! You are the best you will be today, so enjoy it- practice good eating habits- be victorious and make the day count for something. As the days go by, and they will, you will be building perserverance and skills that will keep you at goal when you get there. It will happen! Don't throw these days away- you will remember them fondly- trust me on this. I'm very proud of the 2 years hard work I put into making goal. If it had been "magically" given to me it wouldn't have meant half as much.

(1) it could last weeks but will pass eventually
(2) stick to the plan no matter down you get (as it goes longer)
(3) lots of water
(4) don't invest a lot of time rethinking your processes
(5) remember, you're likely loosing bady fat if not scale points
So mostly, just relax, grin and bear it knowing you'll come out the victor in the end.
PS: My stall lasted four weeks @ 195lbs in Aug/Sept. I'm down 20 since then.
