Feeling defeated and a failure

Hi,

I think you have to look at the big picture.  You've lost 58 pounds in 17 weeks.  That's more than 3 pounds per week.  That is a respectable rate of weight loss.  You are doing great and you don't realize it.  If you were able to keep losing at this rate, you'd lose 150 pounds in a year.  75 pounds in 6 months.  That's not bad!

My weight loss has always been lose a little and stall.  Last Monday I was up three pounds overnight - I just ignored it, and its back down a couple days later. I've had stalls that lasted 2 weeks and it is frustrating.  Don't let the day to day get you down.  If you stick to the plan, the weight will come off.

best wishes,

Carol
