Hanging in there
Hello everyone, I haven't posted in a while. I've been a little discouraged with the process. I will see the Doctor for the fifth time this coming week. That will leave me with one more Doctor visit and one last nutrition class before I see the Surgeon. I will try to motivate myself to visit this site daily to get myself back on track. The medical bills have piled up and that makes the money situation even worse. I have my house for sale and am trying to find one we can pay cash for the next home and I will then be able to pay off all the Doctor bills. Hopefully after surgery I won't have to buy anymore insulin either. Best wishes to all of you on your journeys.

I'm sorry you are struggling. This process is long and hard and unfortunately life doesn't stop and give us a break while we are going through it. Remember that this is just a moment in time and that life will go on. The bills will get paid and the chores/work done. You have a lifetime of joy and healthy living coming your way. Don't give up!
God bless,

We just went thought a very hard time in our house financially and while we are not on the other side completely it has got better. We started with a lot of praying and then I got angry (I don't recommend it lol). When I was done my hissy fit and re-learned to lean on God again things did get better. He is there and is listening. It's hard when it's not in our time.. but His timing is always perfect. Keep praying :)
We almost had our home sold and it fell through. We were both disappointed and I told my Wife it just wasn't meant to be. God knows where he wants us to live and I know we just have to trust him even though it is hard to do sometimes in this fat human body of mine. I am glad that someday he will give ma a new body that won't wear out, get fat, or die and bills will be a thing of the past.
Keep coming back here...right now, think of this forum as a support group. We're all here to help inform and encourage each other.
Things will work out for you and your family. I hope that your house sells soon and that you can find relief from your financial worries--those are the worst.
I'd also be willing to bet after surgery, your need for insulin will decrease if not disappear. I know my diabetes was resolved 3 months post-op. No more metformin for me!
Hang in there!
