One Year Ago, and down exactly One Hundred Pounds
One year ago I created my Profile on this Forum. I wrote, "Today I am starting my weight loss journey (with the Sleeve)". How cool is it that I stepped on the scale today and was exactly 100 lbs down. I moved neighborhoods and had lost my scale in the moving boxes, and found it just today. I am also wearing a size 8 - 10 and my BMI is a 24 - normal range! I bought a pair of Old Navy jeans today, size 8 (they are sorta stretchy). SIZE 8?????? SIZE 8?????!!!! Who is the woman actually putting on a SIZE 8 pair of jeans????????
I'm 6 lbs away from my goal, but my 'stretch goal' is 11 lbs away. I will be a skinny bean stalk if i hit the stretch goal. Feeling good, and feeling grateful despite the hard times I have with my Sleeve (currently I have bad heartburn). Feeling especially grateful to my surgeon, who did a 'tight Sleeve' on me...small Bougie size and he 'pulled it tight' and made a tight Sleeve. I really, really, really needed that kind off super restriction. Thank God he gave me a tight, small Sleeve!!!!
So GREAT !!!!!
You came into this kicking and screaming.....with some issues.....
