I have to stay on liquids for 21 days and then I can progress to seafood and soft, soft, veggies for 3 weeks before introducing poultry.  I don't mind because my sleeve is super tight and I struggle getting in 2 oz per hour and not hungry at all

I was scheduled for four weeks of full liquids after surgery but got bumped up to purees at three weeks because I was doing well, no problems.

Our schedule is stage 1 water(in hospital)

Start stage 2 in hospital. Clear liquids.

Released on stage 3 part 1, full liquids, which is stage 1&2 plus milk and protein shakes.Do this for two weeks

Start part 2 of Stage 3 modified full liquids at two weeks out and it lasts for 10 weeks. cream soups, yogurt, cottage or ricotta cheese, no sugar applesauce, stage 2 baby food(no meat), cream of wheat/rice or oatmeal thinned. All have to be thinned.

So technically on liquids for 12 weeks after getting home. Seems like a long time to me but every Dr is different.

Cant wait to get to the next stage to start chicken, tuna, eggs, pureed veggies, blended canned fruit, etc!!! :)

Hope this helps!
