Had my consult yesterday! I'm excited...I've actually lost another lb...i should update my ticker lol

Funny how when you don't try you can lose weight

Met with Dr. Landerholm and staff and he wants to make sure that my liver is shrunk and perfect for surgery.

I gave myself 20-30 lbs of a weight loss goal in 6 months before surgery...

I have first nutrition visit on 01/21 and a psych eval and fitness expert appt in march...

I keep reading horror stories about people dying after surgery and am kinda freaked out..but Dr. Landerholm made me feel at ease

Congrats!   One thing I'll guarantee you is that YOUR actions before and after surgery have alot more to do with your risk of complications and death than anythign the doc will do to you on the table.  Good pre-operative habits, adherence to the plan, and a strong support system will mitigate your risks significantly.  Good Luck!
