Congratulations!  Today was my first appointment with dietician.  Your post is motivating!  What was the most difficult hurdle for you?  I am about where you were weight wise when you started. Thanks in advance for anything you can share!

Thanks everyone. ChangingMyLife13, I had a rough start. I had a stricture so I was on IV the first month and a half after surgery. This is not common and caused my recovery to be long but still worth it! Now I still struggle with getting enough fluids in because we have to wait after we before we can drink. The rule is 30 minutes but I normally have to wait at least an hour sometimes more...depending how well my food goes down. I can now eat most foods, just very little of it. While I say I'm at goal, I fully anticipate losing more. Everyone says I will lose until my body is ready to stop. I've been trying to add in good carbs to slow the weight loss down but so far, I'm still losing! Best wishes to you! It's totally worth it!
