1 week 2 days post op appt

So today I went to my surgeons office for my week post op appt but it was actually two days after my 1 week since surgery. My incisions are healing very well and almost healed actually. I'm still on a liquid/soup diet for another week and half and then I can introduce soft foods, cottage cheese, eggs, refried beans etc. I'm feeling really good and excited for this change.

Now for the numbers when I first went to my surgeons office in November I was 287, when I met with my surgeon on 1/7 before surgery I was 274, the day of surgery I was 265. And today I am 256.6!! So a total weight loss of 30.5lbs and since surgery a weight loss of 8.4lbs! No I'm excited but wish I had lost a little more since surgery :/

Great!  I've read that weight loss is hampered the first week post-op since you're still swollen and healing.  So I wouldn't stress out about it if you can manage not to!
