Hi all I was sleeved on 1/15/2014 and I'm so happy it's finally done.  I am still on my clear liquid diet and having some trouble getting in all the protein. Just like you all said "You will get full fast." and Yes I do.   Also I'm so bored with the Jello, broth, and Ice Pops. I have another 6 days to go on this phase of my program, is there anything else you guys can suggest?

Thanks,

I hate to give the worst answer possible, but this is the part of the journey that you just have to grit your teeth and deal with until it passes. I mixed up the broths by combining different ones (I liked chicken broth with a little liquid from a can of french onion soup, and a tiny bit of hot sauce  -just be careful not to give yourself heartburn with too much heat!). This phase sucks. There's just no getting around it. Sorry hon! Only 6 more days! In the grand scheme of the rest of your life with your sleeve, this is NOTHING!! You can do it!

Ditto. These foods are necessary for helping the healing process. I find a lot of my diet is rather boring now. I eat dense protein now with very, very few carbs while in WL mode. I am learning to do things differently regarding food.

Just remember that the end result will be weight loss and improved health~~it is so worth it.

You can get some egg whites and pour it in your broth to make egg drop soup. It's on my plan so I'm not sure if you can or not.

Yes Egg Drop Soup, I picked some up from the Chinese Restaurant yesterday.  I'm will make my own, and yes it is on my program.  I called my nutrition because I wasn't sure If I could have the egg whites and she approved.  YAAYYY! gonna have a lil variety now.

Chicken broth with V8 juice was my savior- just tasty enough.  Good luck, and know that it gets better as the days go by.
