Girl Scout cookie NSV

So both my girls are Girl Scouts and it is cookie time.  I have had 400 boxes of yummy cookies sitting in my dinning room all week and I have not been tempted once.

Before surgery, I would have eaten a whole box of frozen thin mints with a glass of milk in one sitting.  Now being thin feels better than cookies taste!

Wow, you are one strong woman!  I'm only about 4 weeks out and i believe i could eat at least a double handful of Thin Mints right now!  Well, not really, given that 2 ounces of SF chocolate pudding fills me up.  But i'll tell you what, a tablespoon of peanut butter tastes JUST LIKE  Do.si.dos!

Wow = MMmom - I'm impressed!  You've reached goal and stay out of those cookies!  I'm worried about the few boxes I had to order from a neighbor but I'm getting them out of the house (hopefully still FULL!) to my husband's office.  I love me some Thin Mints!!

Good job MMmom!

4th year selling and I'm not even slightly tempted. It is the whole concept of regular access limits desires.

Thin mints are awesome cookies, and Keebler sells cookies that taste exactly like them called "Grasshoppers" all year long.  I stay away from the cookie aisle at the grocery store, LOL!

A scoop of Syntrax mint cookie protein powder in ice water = better than a Thin Mint cookie...

...just sayin'. :)

Good on you for resisting the siren call of those damned cookies!

I have loved thin mints from the time I sold cookies as a Girl Scout. I have been so compliant to my plan that for the first time ever, I have not purchased my beloved thin mints. Fast forward to this weekend---I am babysitting at my daughter's home AND there are thin mints in the fridge. Horror stories of temptations! So far I have resisted.

I have been able to say no to so many temptations but this struggle with thin mints is challenging. So far I am winning. Wonder if there is a 12-step program for Girl Scout cookies.

Stay strong.😳

I love it - 12 STEP PROGRAM FOR GIRL SCOUT COOKIES!!  "Hello - my name is Mary Ann & I am a cookie addict!'

I love all of you who are not tempted at all by cookies - I wish  it weren't one of my demons!  I also do not go by the cookie aisle.  I admit, for the first 4-5 months after surgery, sweets (cookies & candy) did not tempt me at all.  Now at 11 months out - I am tempted.  So over the holidays, very few sweets in the house - I just can't handle it and my family supported me in this - thank goodness!!  Tried out a few recipes from Eggface also helped plus recipes on this website!  Just got to get track of everything in MFP!

Greek yogurt helps and the protein shakes to get my sweet fix in.  Gotta go get some Synthrax Protein powder!
