VSG on 03/08/14

I'm a week and 1 day post op, but tomorrow I go back to work. I sure have enjoyed a few days off, but reality calls. Unfortunately, tonight's the only night I've struggled. I ate too much too fast and I'm paying for it now. Oh well, I'm a big believer in mind over matter, so I'll push my way through this as well. Happy St. Patricks Day, everyone!

Good luck! I went back to night shift 6 days post op. No problems.

42 y/o, 5'7", HW 289, Start Weight 280. SW 264 on 3/7/14. Diagnosed w/IDC 5/16/14.

good luck and take it easy..... im glad to hear some of you going back early.....my surgery is tuesday the 8th my plan is tues and wed in the hospital ,thurs and friday home, sat work but just sitiing at my desk for a few hours .. then home and off sunday and monday.... then tuesday back to work easy load though....

please let me know how it works for you so I hsve an idea of what to do.... best of luck!!!!!

Good luck! My doctor acted surprised that I wanted to go back at 3weeks! Wednesday Will be my first day back.I feel stronger than I was at 2weeks though.
