I see a few of you are eating Ricotta cheese not to long after your surgeries. What are some of the ways you prepare it??? I've never ate it except in pasta. LOL

I tried some with a couple drops of lemon oil and a tad of Splenda.  It tasted good, but my sleeve didn't care for it.  Sigh.

I lived on this.  After cooking I made it into tiny portions and froze what I couldn't eat right away.  Loved this.

When I was freshly sleeved and my plan's stage allowed Ricotta cheese, I would throw a 1/2 of a cup in a ramikin, warm it up in the microwave, then mix in 1 packet of natural stevia and a pinch of cinnamon.  I would then measure out 1/8 or 1/4 of a cup and eat it.  It was something that set well with my sleeve and I didn't grow tired of eating it.  I could eat it warm (freshly made) or cold and/or reheated (left overs).  Very versital.

I like ricotta mixed with some splenda or sweetener and unsweetened cocoa powder. Maybe a few drops of vanilla extract. I used to eat this often pre-op, but post-op not too much.
