Post Op Menu
I'm actually seeing my nutritionist on Friday just exactly to do this--set up sample menus for each stage of post-op eating so that I am better able to plan when and how to eat, drink, take vitamins and meds, etc. If we come up with anything I think would be generally useful, I'll post it in the VSG thread.
Great! I am a true planner and I'm working on one now but would love to see others. My sleeve date is next monday 4/28. I know my food choices are very limited to liquids but i still want to work it out for I know what to eat, what time to drink, and what time for walks. I need a set schedule to ensure the first 35 days go smoothly. I have it planned to know that Day 4 Friday 5/2 I add in protein drinks, Day 14 is Monday 5/12 this is when my pureed foods come into play, Day 21 5/19 is soft foods, and Day 35 6/2 is low fat low sugar for life.
I post my meals every day to the "whatcha eating" thread here. I find it useful to read what other people do too. It might be useful for you to read that thread every day - or go back and read ones from the past!
