Stalled but losing inches!
I will be 8 weeks post op tomorrow, and I have been frustrated the last two and a half weeks because my weight loss has been stalled. I eat between 600-700 calories a day. I have been working out 1-2 hours a day 5-6 days a week, and it is very frustrating to do all of that and see the scale fluctuate between 244-246 for two plus weeks. So I was feeling a little down about it today and decided to take my two month measurements a little early. I lost at least an inch on every part of me in the last month. 2 inches from my waist, 3.5 from my hips, 3 from my chest, and 5 inches from each of my thighs! 5!!! Thats crazy. I even remeasured three times on each leg!!
I know that part of my stall is probably due to the fact that two weeks ago I got cleared to start strength training and have been lifting and resistance training for about 45 minutes each day, so I think I am gaining some muscle!
Glad to know that all of my running is paying off in my thighs though! Seriously 5 inches in 4 weeks. Anyways if you need a cheer up during a stall take your measurements!!
