255 pounds, 6 Months and a Healthier Life :)
At my highest weight, I weighed 447 pounds with a BMI of 84.5! Today, I weighed in at 192 with a BMI of 36.3. That is a total of 255 pounds lost. I love my sleeve and what it is offering me - a healthier life.
In 6 months:
- I have lost 101 pounds since surgery day.
- I am 12 pounds from my surgeons (first) weight loss goal.
- I am 52 pounds from my "personal goal". Maybe... I may want to go lower. Settling for a higher weight number isn't an option in my little world.
- I am off several medications with more to soon follow
- I am no longer considered a Diabetic and haven't been since month 3.
- I used to wear 5X/6W or 36W clothing. Today, I am wearing a Large t-shirt and 16W pants!!
I eat or drink nothing that doesn't directly benefit moving my weight loss forward. There is no "cheating", "self negotiating", or "wanting to fit in with those eating around me" in my VSG world.
My Motto is and always has been: 100% on Plan - 100% of the Time.
I'm looking forward to the transformations the next 6 months has to bring!!!!

It will happen. Stick to your program. One of the reasons I have done so well is because I do not eat or drink anything that will slow down my weightloss. I also consistently under eat my sleeve.

I'm still in awe of the fact that you were able to lose 200 pounds without surgery! To come back after your illness and regain and get sleeved and lose another 100+ pounds illustrates your absolute commitment to yourself and your journey. You are amazing and I have no doubt you will meet whatever goal you set for yourself.
YOU ROCK!
Karik-
Thank you for the kind and encouraging words.
