2 month surgiversary!!!
Today marks 2 months since my surgery and I feel better than I have in a long time still have a way to go but it amazes me how much my life has changed already although other people have commented on me losing weight I still look in the mirror and see the old me i guess my brain has not processed all of this yet because the scale says I am losing but I can not see it anyway here are my numbers so far : starting weight 254, pre-op (1 week) -6, m1: -30.6 m2: -11.4 total in 2 months: -48. I have decided to post every month so I can be accountable. Thanks for all the support OH....Dawn
Way to go! You're doing great!! It took a few months for me to be able to notice any changes in the mirror. I was seeing it in my clothes and on the scale but I still saw yucky fat me in the mirror. To be honest, I'm 9 months out and just now starting to really like what I see. For about 3-4 months, my friends have been telling me how skinny I am and how good I look. But I was still seeing the fat me in the mirror. Totally a psychological thing I know. I am noticing my hour glass figure and I'm really liking seeing that!! I still have some pounds and inches to lose but I'm almost there!! Before you know it, you'll be amazed at the person looking back at you in the mirror. I still have a hard time believing it's really me!! Good luck to you on your journey
