Super sore throat. .???

My throat is killing my my right tonsil is huge and bright red... what can I take and do... I'm having a huge problem swallowing anything... so I'm afraid to dehydrate...help...

Could be strep - get thee to a doctor for some antibiotics.  In the meantime, gargle warm sal****er 3-4x/day.  1-2 tbsp salt mixed with about 1/2 cup fairly warm (not hot) water.  Mix well and gargle 3-4 times each instance, 3-4 x per day.  But still get to a doctor.

Sounds like you are coming down with something :( Agreed, better to go to the Dr and get some meds. I hope you are feeling better soon!!

I just got off the phone with my surgeon..  he said get to my pcp asap... if my temp goes up I have to hit the er. . And tell them I'm a baraiatric  patient. . So hoping to get an appt in the morning... While I'm trying to sip away... I don't want to dehydrate again.... I see my surgeon on Thursday.... thanks all... :-)
