Am I eating too much?

I've been reading other posts, and I'm a little concerned. I see people saying that they can only eat a half of a meatball, or a piece of this or that. I am able to eat a whole turkey burger without a problem (no bread of course) & I will only be a month out on the 30th... Am I pushing my sleeve too far? I'm getting my protein in, taking my vitamins & almost at 100% of my liquid goal. What do you all think?

Thanks for responding, Donna. It was about 3 oz... Not a big one. I definitely feel full afterwards & it takes me 30 minutes or more to eat... (((hugs)))

At your point I could only have a 1/4 cup which is about 1.5 oz solid protein.  One patty would be two meals for me.  I would weigh it as your stomach nerves have been cut it may not be able to tell you that it is getting to much.  You don't want to be pushing that new sleeve.  What does you plan say for 4 weeks.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.

Wow... It was just about 3 oz... My nutritionist and surgeon both say to eat what is tolerated. My calorie intake is supposed to be 500-800 calories per day, 80 grams of protein and 64 oz of fluid...

I don't think your 3oz is out of line. If you were going over your calorie recommendations, I might question it, but if you're getting the 3oz in now and feeling full/restriction, I'd say you're doing great!

My plan doesn't allow me to take more than 30 minutes to eat, so if I don't finish in 30 minutes, I don't eat it.

You might also find that, in a few weeks, your capacity changes and decreases.
