Updated my goal.
HA! It was hard to watch that ticker number change but I knew in my head that I wanted that goal weight to be my "ideal" weight. So, I bit the bullet. LOL But I at least waited until I didn't have to see 50 lbs to go! This goal has me at 100% EWL. Ambitious but why not give it a shot, right?!
Thanks to all who have shown me that 100% IS possible!
Good for you! I am thinking about revising my goal downward, also. But I'm going to wait until I achieve the original goal first. I need that success to keep me going. I'm in the mid-range of "overweight" BMI, which is ok with me, but I still have a pot belly, and I'd like to have a flat belly again. So my belly size will be my guide rather than a number of the scale.
best wishes for your journey. I can't wait to hear your good news when you reach your goal!

I set my goal at the beginning to put me a what I think will be a healthy number that should be doable with the aid of VSG. At the time I set it, I did not really believe I could achieve it. After all, I have never been successful, bla, bla bla. I have not been in the 170's since my early 20's! Today, I believe if it want it bad enough, I believe I can get there. Once there, I will evaluate how I look and feel.
Dito......Thanks for all who have shown all of us that this is possible!
I have my end goal set to lower than I ever remember being, but at the low end of "healthy standard weight" for my height. I figure why the hell not shoot for a weight that I would be unequivocally happy with? So 125 it is. I've been 135 in the last 15 years (after a year-long weight-loss effort, I lost 75 pounds), and that was great, but this time I have 180 pounds to lose, and will be working my sleeve to help me get there. I don't see why it wouldn't be possible.
