Saw this on a cycling website today that was commenting on nutrition/diet/training:
"If you examine the various recommendations closely, you'll see that for all of our differences, we can mostly agree on the basic principles: Eat real food in its natural, unprocessed state; fill your plate with vegetables and fruits; include plenty of lean protein and unsaturated fat; and enjoy your food. It's that simple."
The statement was in reference to a couple different diet options. However, as it turns out, it's just that simple for succeeding with a VSG also.
