Seeing my GP for the first time since surgery

I am going to see my GP today to get a physical and have my thyroid levels checked (I have hypothyroidism) and I haven't seem her since I had surgery, and I think that the last time I saw her before surgery was in Feb. 2013 when I had to get a TB test done for work, so it's been awhile, lol. For the first time, I'm actually not nervous about getting lectured about my weight. In fact, I dont even know if she knows I had surgery. Since I was self pay, I didn't really need a referral or anything, so I'm looking forward to seeing her reaction. Hopefully she will be pleasently surprised.

Keep us posted! I haven't seen mine yet either. She went out on maternity leave before I fully decided to have the surgery.

I have my physical at the end of the month too! I'm kinda excited to see what she says. When I spoke to her about it, she was encouraging. I haven't seen her since then though.
