6 weeks out
Well, the past 3 weeks have been a challenge. I slowed way down in WL. But at my check up, I am down 10% of weight. Doctor says, I am normal and right on track. I did find that increasing my water and protein was a big help to get it moving again. Was able to get some great workouts in and now I am losing again. Yeah. Anyone else similar?
I too am 6 weeks out as of yesterday. 2 out of the last 3 weeks I have had some pretty long stalls. 4 or 5 days. Then, I just said to myself, calm down on the weighing yourself craziness. So, I know I haven't been able to make it a week without weighing but I weighed last Thurs and then not again until monday morning. In that time I lost 6 lbs. I have decided I am not gonna weigh again until next Wed. From my highest point I have lost 17 percent of my body weight and from the surgery date I have lost 12.57% of my body weight. Not bad for six weeks I would say. Now that I am at the point where I can start doing resistance training again, I think I am gonna be able to keep the lulls at more of a minimum. Also, one thing that I thought was pretty cool although I truly hate BMI, my BMI is down 8 points. Its a marathon not a sprint, but I really like how this first lap is going.
You remind me of my doctor. " down 11% and that is right on track". He also told me to walk away from the scale. It is hard.. For once, I enjoy seeing a scale. Keep me posted on how you do.
Most people stall and/or slow down.

Yes we are. Hope your week is going better, I am seeing the scale go a little faster now. But still nothing like the first 3 weeks. Let's stay strong and keep moving.
